Shmuel Liebeskind is an AI engineer and researcher working in applied artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. He has experience developing software and AI-based solutions for both industry and academic research.
His research interests include computational methods for Hebrew and other low-resource languages, particularly in the areas of digital humanities and Jewish cultural heritage. His publications address topics such as Aramaic–Hebrew machine translation, the construction of bilingual lexicons, the classification of historical Hebrew texts, and lexical complexity. He has also participated in studies of Hebrew social-media content, including abusive-language detection, emoji prediction, and online interaction.
His work combines practical software-development experience with the application of computational methods to linguistic, historical, and cultural texts.
